Description

Design, carve, and print your own one-of-a-kind fabric banner! You’ll learn the basics of lino carving as you create a simple design, then use your hand-carved block to print it onto fabric. No previous experience is needed, and I’ll guide you through each step. You’ll go home with your hand-carved lino block and a finished banner, ready to hang on a wall, door, or anywhere in your home that could use a little handmade charm.

You can design your own lino print, or I will have samples for you to choose from. All supplies and materials are included!

This class takes place on Sunday, October 11th at 1:00pm at the Public House (418 A St, Springfield).
Pre-Registration is required.

You will learn:
* how to transfer your design to the carving material
* how to safely use carving tools
* how to carve the material to create the design you envision
* how to print the design onto fabric
* how to heat set the design so that it will be permanent
